Tin Tops Title to Fab
Despite no end of shunti uppa bumski Jason Plato could not finish ahead of Fabrizio Giovanardi in the Final race of the BTCC season at Thruxton. Giovanardi won the first 2 races, the Thruxton circuit seeming to favour the Vauxhalls, leaving Plato just 1 point ahead going into the final race. A bit of slightly biased driving by Matt Neal allowed FG and Tom Chilton easily thru while battling Plato as if he were trying to retain his crown. What fun that jolly duo give us. The Final race was won by Matt Jackson in the independant BMW making it 2 wins in his first season, Giovanardi finished 2nd with Plato 4th behind Chilton making it FG 300pts - JP 297pts.
Another great season goes to the wire lets hope next weeks season finale goes the way of Lewis Hamilton.
