Re: avatar question...

I take it you have saved the image to your desktop right? make sure its no bigger than 100 X 100 pixels or 19kb, has to be a gif or jpeg.
If in doubt pm me and I will resize it for you

Re: avatar question...

If you haven’t got the image saved to your pc and you need help then give us the link to the sites page and tell us which image you want, with a bit of luck we can sort it for you, also if you like I can insert the avatar for you.

Good luck.

Those sizes had been changed to allow for larger animated gifs, they are now;
<= 150 by150 pixels or 39.1 KB whichever is smaller.

Why's it still say "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)." on the change avatar page then

Re: avatar question...

Doen't it change when you donate? I think those who haven't donated only get 100x100, those who have get 150x150

You might have a point there.

I’ve done a quick search and I can’t find any references as to the size of avatars after donating to accyweb. It may well be one of the bonuses, having donated but it could also have something to do with post counts.

I know quite a while back members where asking if they could have the size of the avatars increased so they could use animated gifs and I know Roy did increase it at that time but that may have been when the avatars where 50 by 50 pixels, not sure now?
There’s probably something posted about it somewhere, but it could be anywhere. hehe
