Thanks for the memories Steeljack used to love the show and Kathy Kirby was great in the 60's. Wheeltappers and Shunters was on tv in the 70's as I remember.

From the cut of her jib, I'd say '74.

Lol, it was just an educated guess, from trying to carbon date the sequins on her frock, and from her hair style, but it was 1974!

Gosh, Garinda .. certainly know yer sequins

I think that dress is lovely and wouldn't say no myself .. in a different colour though. Tried to get the lipstick look, but could never get to stay put more than 5 mins .. wonder what her secret was ?

Thanks for that .. quite liked Kathy Kirby .. always seemed a little vulnerable though to the pressures of her fame.

Thanks for that, SJ, really enjoyed it. I thought Kathy Kirby looked pretty good too, considering she was, by then, about ten years down the line from her hit-making days of "Secret Love". The general look of the club and the audience also brought back some memories of many a hazy night spent in the Willow Mount!

Whenever I think of Kathy Kirby I think of her hair in that rolled up around the bottom style.
