Ian Levine (ex Blackpool Mecca DJ) persuaded Alfie Davison to perform this version of "Love is a serious business" his 70's Monster Northern Soul classic, on a cold February day, on the streets of Brooklyn, for his documentary film "The Strange World Of Northern Soul" which saw its premiere at Blackburn King Georges Hall about 8 years ago. It was a great day, the film lasted 10 hours, 9:00am-9:00pm and was followed by the regular KGH soul night, where we saw Bobby Paris perform "Nite Owl" live.
