Think i'm beginning to go senile , spent the last half hour going through my LP collection looking for a Marianne Faithfull, Country and Western album I thought I had only to find out it was Olivlia Newton John ... yep senility ........besides the point , what I did find was a single (45 rpm) of a song called "Mam, Dad and Me" by a group called Cottage Rainbow , its a Decca single from 1974, can't find it on YouTube , but the group pops up playing in Blackburn pubs singing other songs , Have absolutly no recollection what it sounds like ( a Hovis advert ?) ......
anyone have a memory of this group/band ?
will check it out tomorrow when i clear the dust and crap off the top of my turntable
PS if anyone wants it , let me know by PM and its in tomorrows post

Think the band was Called Rainbow Cottage Eric, saw them plenty of times in the seventies all round Lancashire and Manchester, were under the same management as Copper Kettle whos lead guitar was Eric Tre who can still be found in the Music Box in Accy think he may be in partnership with Brian Grooby who owns it, well he was there the last time I was in the Box bought a Fender Strat off him. Incidentally Eric was also lead guitar with Marty Wilde and the Weather in the sixties
