That takes me back, Mr C. Seem to remember they had a lot of C&W/Irish "crying in yer beer" type songs on the big Crown jukebox!

yep but the version on the crown jukebox was by a showband whose name eludes me.

heres another was on when i worked for em, Mcalpine bus used to pick me up outside the Hope N Anchor was workin on the Whalley By-Pass.

one for wynonie, this guy had more billboard hits in a 2 yr period late 50s than Elvis n no buggars heard of him. saw him approx 15 yrs ago , electric live.

thats a keeper ...haven't heard that in years ....used to be popular sing-song near closing time in the Long bar in the mine club , Kitwe Zambia early 70s
