I saw her perform at London's Le Beat Route in 1984, and she had a great voice, but sadly she then just disappeared.

It's by no means the original though. The song has been around for a couple of hundred years as an American folk song; given many titles revolving around 'In The Pines'.

true was refering to chartwise. twas a blackburn based group.

Well Cashy..tried to paste a link from youtube but it's "embedding disabled" so the vid will not play on here..... so I downloaded same vid from a torrent...then uploaded to youtube and embedded it (LOL).. but it still won't play on Accyweb..if you get what I mean LOL
