Artists wanted for May 19th - Rossendale Hospice Charity Ro
Hello
Hi there my names Jane Britton I'm running an event for the Rossendale Hospice a charity based in Lancashire UK on the 19th of May 2007 at Bacup Leisure Hall ( Rossendale near Rochdale and Bury) that we did last year to great success. The event will be an evening of music with various artists including my own band ICE, the aim of raising as much money for the Hospice as we possibly can. I really need some good bands who are able to provide a variety of music and who are able to draw and entertain a crowd ( dont forget we're out in the sticks so your fans would need to travel lol) . Venue is Bacup Leisure Hall, PA/engineer will be provided on the night. The Leisure Hall has its own stage/bar/parking and can hold between 450 - 500 people. Heres the website address for the hospice and a brief write up of what they do. http://www.rossendalehospice.org/ Rossendale Hospice is a local charity caring for people in Rossendale who are living with a life threatening illness ie Cancer. The Hospice provides both a comprehensive service to each patient and continuous support to families and carers. Unfortunately we are not in a position to pay our artists but there would be local press and radio coverage and I'd be more than happy to provide food and refreshments on the night.
