It is absolute rubbish.......I cannot imagine why anyone would want to buy it.....unless they just hand over the money for charity and leave the music(sic) in the shop.
And glad to hear you haven't got it on your Jukebox Staggerinman!

Thumbs down Re: Band Aid 20

In my opinion; what a load of dross. What's all that rapping about?
The papers, sorry, gutter press, tried to make out a rivalry between Bono and some supposed upstart eager to usurp his crown, which Bono's ego won, allowing him to cover a line he sang 20 years ago. He should have known better. Even his vocal contribution sounds washed out.

In the words of Paul Calf, "Bag o' sh!te."

Yeh it should have been re done with Phil Collins playing a Glitter Beat that would have really got it going especially as that original beat was inspired by African Drumming!

But people shouldn't be so cynical it's at least trying to help others.

Then perhaps they should have used their imagination and made up a new song.

I tell you I am sure that most of the stuff released these days is a cover of something I used to listen to in the 80s...

The first Band Aid was most definately the best....this is a load of crap just like most of the charts so I say bring back the 80's
