not really a Christmas record , but hearing a group of primary/infant schoolchilden singing "Away in a Manger" allways brings a bit of a tear to this cynical old buggers eye
It's gotta be Greg Lake's I Believe in Father Christmas for me. Perhaps I'm a closet hippy or it may be because the beeb used the Prokofiev bit out of it as their Christams theme music for a couple of years when I was MUCH younger.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs, cackling and telling me
'You'll be next.' They stopped when I started doing the same to them at funerals.
A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chris De Burgh was in my humble opinion the best one yet. Has anyone listened to "Real" radio on DAB radio they are playing a mixture of Christmas songs and other stuff during the day but at night, all night they are playing all Christmas stuff.
