All I can say is, that you are far too young to be able to make a judgement about the best song of the 20th century.
According to your profile you are 15.....so you haven't spent enough time in that era to be able to judge, and the time you were in that era, you were probably wiping baby milk from your mouth(or at least your mother was).
If you really want to contribute to this great forum(and be taken seriously) you could start by stop asking all these irrelevant(juvenile) questions.

You remind me very much of someone from the past, whose name escapes me now...but caused a funny buzzing sound every time he appeared in his various guises.
He also flooded the site with silly irrelevant questions.
Not that I am saying that is YOU....but just that you remind me of him.

Due to your posting frenzy I'm assuming you've just had your first sniff of the Demon Booze?

Talking Re: best song of the 20th century

Looks like I have made more enemies than friends, but do I care now..........no I ain't afraid of speaking my mind. I do have a life, just like everyone else. If you like me I am fine with that and I will be glad. If you dislike me I ain't bothered either.

Re: best song of the 20th century

Son, I do not know you, I have not spoken to you and as such do not have enough information to decide if I like or dislike you. However you seem to start puerile threads and we already have enough of that on here.
If you wish to be involved in adult discussion, then please do. Do not expect other members of this forum to have any patience when you start threads, best film/song etc with very little to say on the matter.

I suggest you go get your dr beats*(insert other trendy headphone brand here! I prefer more audiophile equipment) and listen in a darkened room to THE WHOLE of The Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd (preferably on Vinyl but a download will do) you will come away a different person.

Do you mean you aren't afraid of speaking your mind?
And do you mean that you are not bothered if people don't like you?
Speaking personally, I have do not dislike you, but I do dislike your flooding of the site with juvenile and irrelevant posts.
If you want to be a good contributory member of the site, it would do you well to take on board the criticisms which have so far been levelled at you.
They are for the good of the site and the good of yourself. If you do not wish to follow this advice, then perhaps you should take your custom elsewhere...where it might be tolerated...and perhaps even appreciated

Anyway - getting back to the question - there are (for me) so many really great songs that it would be impossible to choose just one. And it would depend a lot on how I was feeling at the time I was asked. I think a good test is "does it make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck"!

PS I like "The Chain" Fleetwood Mac.
