Blancmange live @ Darwen Library

Blancmange an 80's band that featured members that originated from Darwen are playing a gig @ Darwen Library 9th May 2012. Apparently they have a new album called 'Blanc Burn'

Buy Blancmange Tickets at Darwen Library Theatre, Darwen on 09th May 2012 | livemusic.fm

Im not an '80s' music fan but I am thinking of going and asking the band if perhaps I can make a recording on my tascam 24/96 recorder

Can't see 'em letting you record your own bootleg but you never know.

I can only remember "Living on the Ceiling" of theirs from when I was a lad....

Darwen Library's a good venue, comfy seats - a bit like being at the cinema.

I don't know either. A lot of bands are quite open about it these days. I taped The Lovers(tom hingley) when they played King Street WM Club. I only had MiniDisc back then then, but, I told Tom and he asked for a copy of the recording.

The singer Neil Arthur was born in Darwen that's why. Same place I was born!
