No, it simply isn't clear what you mean.
If you think that by some people criticising some of the acts, and that we shouldn't really comment, because we didn't organise the concert, then it would have been simpler to say just that.
I for one have nothing but respect for the late Princess, and her sons, and I'm a republican.
I met her three times, and because of her financially my life changed dramatically. That, plus her taking on the then very unpopular cause of HIV and AIDS, which through her public acceptance, changed attitudes for ever, especially in the then hysterical press.

Re: Diana concert.
We weren't having a pop at Diana or her sons;merely passing comment on the acts. I don't give 2 hoots about her or her family ,just some observations on the quality of the performers.

Re: Diana concert.
She did the same for Leprosy too.
But if you did mean leaving her in peace and not discussing her I don't understand that because this concert was organised by her sons to celebrate what would have been her birthday and raise money for her favourite charities and I think that was a lovely idea. I didn't enjoy all of the acts but then it was a wide range of tastes and I don't suppose anybody would have enjoyed them all.

bully for you... i also think she was a great person... difference is that when i said rest in peace i meant it... you obviously didnt..
you think its good to have poorly attended concerts with crap acts that get worse each time and eventually we will end up with.... well... not with the memories we had... thus I believe we should let the princess rest .... leave her alone and stop trying to make money out of her.. cus thats what it is.. even if it is for good causes..
that clearer?

Yesterday was about her children's decision to celebrate her life, nearly ten years after her death, and on what would have been her birthday.
If you think it was disrespectful, perhaps you should write and let her two sons know your feelings about their event, c/o Clarence House, London SW1.

I haven't to my knowledge, organised any concerts in memory of Princess Diana.
If anyone is being disrespectful it's you, by using this thread to act the fool.
Shame.
