Dig Out Your Soul
Visit MySpace.com - OASIS - Manchester, UK - Alternative / Rock / Indie and hear the new album in it's entirity exclusively. As a whole I like the album a lot. Not too keen on (Get Off Your) High Horse Lady, indifferent over a couple of others, and Ain't Got Nothin' is frankly quite painful to listen to; but there are quite a number of surprising, experimental and outstanding tracks on there.
Early favourites are The Shock of the Lightning, I'm Outta Time, To Be Where There's Life, The Turning and The Nature of Reality.
They did indeed throw the kitchen sink at this one!
No doubt the B-sides will be better than a few of the album tracks, given their track record.
10/10 for effort, 8/10 for product.

So the 'people' in the People's Republic pay to see Oasis but representatives from the People's Republic won't let them play. Alrighty then.
The world was much better when we owned it.

Re: Dig Out Your Soul
Not too keen on the new album; I've lost love for Liam's vocals really. So I was extremely pleased about the Noel Gallagher live CD in The Times this weekend. Anyone else lucky enough to get it? It has excellent an cover of 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' by The Smiths and Paul Weller even makes a vocal appearance for one of his songs and a Beatles' cover.

Re: Dig Out Your Soul
The album's a grower cashy. I'm only indifferent on one of the tracks of Dig Out Your Soul now. Love the rest. One of my favourite Oasis albums.
