Remember there was a televised debate which I attended on the ITVs "Up Front" hosted by Lucy Meacock and Tony Livesey, it was live from a mill in Bolton. On of the guests was Simon Dee (a real prat) the debate was quite lively, I ended up chatting to Lucy in the green room afterwards

Groove was part of this scene and beleives its a generation thing. Mr.Jaysay would probably have been involved too had he been a youth in the late 80's. They were good times and Groove beleives they continued the all-nighter scene from the northern soul wigan casino days of the 70's.
