Just watched it on your link mthead and it is catchy in a typical eurovision way...although I half expected them to launch into barbie girl at one point

I know this may come as a shock but believe it or not all views I may air on here are my own work!!!!!
Personally I hate the scooch song but realisticly it is a eurovison song through and through.
I think nowadays Eurovision is a laughing stock over here, but about 5 years ago UkCowboy and myself were in Quara, Malta on holiday (same time as the world cup!!) and we were looking for somewhere to eat when we noticed a lot of locals gathered in one of the squares, we heard the music and wandered over to see what was going on. As we got there we were greeted by a 40ft tall Terry Wogan, Eurovision was being projected onto a large white hotel wall across the street, we were welcomed with open arms and invited to stay and watch the contest with them, and boy oh boy do they take it seriously!!!!
I've never seen anything like it, and for the first time in years I found myself glued to Eurovision, not interested in the UK, but hooked on Malta. As it turned out after about 3/4 of the voting Malta and Lithuania were tied for top spot and as the final few sets of votes came in the tension rose. Malta lost on the last set of votes, and I found myself genuinely gutted for all these Maltese nutters who thought it was the end of the world!!! Some were crying, others were shouting at the screen saying it was a fix, and how the turks were to blame!!! It was truely quite bizarre!!!
However it was a great night out in the end!!!
And the moral of the story is. . . . . . . . if you want to really enjoy Eurovision go to Malta, they love it!!!
Terry Wogans comments on the actual Eurovision night are brilliant.
What was also brilliant was how he announced the wrong act. He said Cyndi had won, and then Fearne Cotton jumped in saying that it was actually Scooch. Its been on the news today that 100 people complained about it.... my goodness, I know I'm sad because I always watch Eurovision, but words fail me!!!
