just read a report by fats dominos agent saying that the 77 year old blues singer and his wife and daughter were staying home in a low lying area of new orleans,and he has not heard from them since katrina, lets just pray that fats and his family are safe although it does not sound good. many great blues/jazz musicans live in the area,people who have brought a great deal of enjoyment to many folk, i,m not prioritising people just very sad at this news also.

update- just seen this= his daughter keren told c.n.n. that she had seen her father being airlifted from a roof in a newspaper photograph on monday,but has not heard or knows where he is,so from presumed dead,to missing is a little ray of hope.
