Favorite track of 2006

New Years approaches so the question had to come from someone. What was your favorite music track of 2006?

Kasabian's second album was probably the only decent record of 2006 for me, I liked 'The Doberman' the most - though 'Shoot The Runner' and 'Empire' are great two-in-the-morning club songs.

I think SuperModes "Tell Me Why" is a strong contender for me, simply cos I heard it first in Ibiza.

"I'm Tore Up" - the Big Heat from their latest album, "Boogiemen". Great, rockin' R&B band from Sheffield (and when I say R&B, I mean Rhythm & Blues, not the anaemic, plastic, contrived music that currently goes under the term R&B). Yeah, I know, I know, you've never heard of them (apart from Cashman who had the good fortune to see them live in Barnsley of all places). If you do ever come across them, give 'em a listen.
