Sounds like a good basic introduction for future Foo fans but the CD seems pretty useless for existing fans!

They have 6 studio albums and a shed load of crackin' b-sides. There's more than enough good stuff there from 15 years. Perhaps they want to introduce new fans (In Your Honor onwards) to earlier music, like Big Me from the first album. It's probably just a money spinner from the record company who will own the publishing rights. Grohl has his side project with Three Crooked Vultures to tour so there won't be a new Foo's album for a while.

hey dudes and gals... dont get me wrong. I am a MASSIVE nirvana fan. Well i was in my youth(actually i still collect nirvana live bootlegs) and yes i do like foo fighters.
Shakermaker.... yes they have had 6 albums......not enough imo....but man 15 years went fast

to me.. its like will young doing a biography a year after his tv crap... I dont know.. Im fussy musically

they are doing a new album...why bother with the best of?.... its more a record comany thing

When you can have a tracklisting like that with more to debate over, no one can tell you that you haven't recorded enough to release a greatest hits or best of. Sorry pal, you're talking out of your arse.

I think they could have stretched the tracklisting to at least 20...shame, i know its a little different but Madonna`s latest `best of` is jam packed full of tracks, its a double with about 36 tracks and real value for money, anyhow back to one of the greatest rock bands of modern times......new single..mmm i`m not sure maybe a bit of a grower

it is a grower pipples, i first saw it on tv yesterday and i thought 'wtf's all that about' i watched it all the way through and i thought 'ok fair enough maybe if i get to know the song i'll like it' and since i got the song and played it for most of yesterday.....i love it

bleh... They were prob losers coming from a town full of losers before they wasn't. Somebody once said dave grohl owes his sucess all to Kurt.. Gotta dissagree. Scream were a good band, the one he was in before nirvana. Im not a fan of foo fighters but I certainly dont mind listneing to them
