Daft as a Brush. never knew why the WHO were not even performing at the festival.

Moonie was a drummer cashy and drummers are like goalies in football, half a pork pie short of a picknick

For me it would be either John Bonham so Led Zepplin would be restored to their former glory or Dusty Springfield one of my favourite artists of all time.

This lady did it first, 1952, Elvis stole most of it.

Janis died the same year as Hendrix, and Jim Morrison.
She was Rock and Roll, immortalised in Leonard Cohen's Chelsea Hotel, (or was that Joni Mitchell?) she gave everything, just got my vote.
Summertime is one of my favourite songs as well, sorry you didn't like Janis' version, try Joni's.

Sorry, have to disagree with you there...if it hadn't been for Wynonie Harris, Roy Brown, Amos Milburn, Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner and many more who most people have never heard of, there would be nothing, including Elvis. They invented rock 'n' roll, but history was rewritten in order to write them out of the picture. That's the real rock 'n' roll swindle!
