Cheers Cashy, yep it looks like thats from 6 years ago i think. Have noticed that the Pleasers were also playing that night at the Adelphi on Avenue Parade, its a fair bet i would have been there that night!! Both Pleasers and Adelphi still going of course, but i dont think Adelphi is geared to 60's style music now....more's the pity!

Yes it is true!! The Jo Danuki Band are doing a few gigs around Darwen. If you want to make a few phone calls try ... the Britannia, Craven heifer, George Hotel. I was talking to the bass guitarist in Sainsburys on Saturday. Hope that helps.

Re: Jo Danuki Band

Yes the bassist is still Barry, a good friend of me and my family. We've been friends of each others families for near enough 10 years now.

Anyhow, The band did reform, they are doing a few gigs around and about, getting back into it. Very lavish set, lights and lasers believe it or not, sounding very very good.

The guitarist (Neil, I think) was talking to me about how they need to tighten up and then they'll keep on gigging, but in my opinion they are already bloody good enough.

They're playing Darwen Music Live this year, Main Stage I believe. Worth watching.

Re: Jo Danuki Band

When you next see Barry, i wonder if you could ask if they are planning to do any gigs in Accy or Ossy, and if you could perhaps get a post on here at any point if indeed they do?

He said there's nothing really set in stone at the moment, they're just getting back into it all, but if anything comes up and I find out I'm happy to keep you posted
