Julian Cope-flawed Genius?
Been listening to The Teardrop Explodes/Julian Cope.Anyone else on here familiar with his music think this bloke was a musical genious or acid casualty.Avoice that betrays his scouse roots & sounds more 'middle England',proborbly the more inventive of Liverpools crucial three(with McCulloch & Whyllie).Top geezer who marched against the poll tax, thought he was a druid, wrote a song about Robert Mitchum & appeared on his album sleeve with a turtle shell on his back('Fried';too much LSD). Had'nt heard him for ages, great stuff imo.'Sunspots'...top song.
