A happy birthday (June 6th 1936 ) to a fantastic lead singer , who gave us some of the greatest Motown songs along with the rest of the great Four Tops. I know he has been very Ill for quite a while, If anybody has any updates about him and how he's doing I would like to know. I bet Mr C knows.

last i heard al was about 5 yrs ago, he was living in tenerife n very poorly, that came from a good source, the touring 4 tops.

theres only 1 of remaining 4 still with em (Fakir) levi had a stroke late 90s, the others no longer with us, levi was actually "Jackie Wilsons" cousin, some family ehh? if there ever out yer way al, still well worth seeing.

the son of one of originals (Payton) is now lead singer.
