Yes, Willow, they were a great band - certainly good enough to be signed by a record company. I think Ian Alveston still plays in a folk club up Ossy somewhere. Still see Florrie around town sometimes when I'm having a pre-match drink.

ian was playing at lock street club up ossy last i heard.think they have a jam night occasionally.

i know this is a late post but just in case anybody is reading this long john baldry played fred skinners place in great harwood in the late sixties. had a keyboard player called reg dwight now known as elton john they turned up late and blamed it on getting lost near boltons harwood

blimey I remember florrie - used to live on the estate up willows lane. we were good mates in a drumming sense - remember first seeing him playing a bo diddley number at the arks. he was good and helped me with my first search for a kit.

Just seen this thread, Ian was good mate of mine in the sixties along with his brother Tony, I think I've mentioned before they were founder members of the Warriors before the days of Jon and Tony Anderson, Ian is one of the best self taught guitarists I've ever seen, gave me a few lessons in the sixties, haven't seen him for years now, I did here he was living up Green Haworth somewhere
