Was never really into reggae , but this was one of the better songs of that genre

Actually, Marley probably did pen this. According to legend, Ford didn't have a musical bone in his body. He owned a soup kitchen in Trenchtown (the ghetto of Kingston) and the story goes that Bob Marley gave Ford all credit to keep the soup kitchen going.
