Rob Rigby RIP

For those of you had any liking for live music of the rock variety in Accy over the last 30 years, I'm afraid this is bad news. The extremely talented and well liked Rob Rigby passed away on friday aged 51. Rob has been lead vocalist and guitarist in many, many bands in and around the Accrington area for a very long time, most recently Gridlock, and anyone who saw them will know what a talented bloke he was. Rob's funeral is on Mon 28th March at Accrington Crematorium at 1pm.

Rock on Rob !!

Re: Rob Rigby RIP

What a shame.
Met him for the first and only time last year when he was at one of our gigs. He came over and introduced himself as "Rob" - we were talking guitars for much of the evening, he was surprised to see I had a Hagstrom guitar the same as his. It was only as they were leaving when one of his mates told me he was actually Accrington muso "legend" Rob Rigby. Nice guy.
