I'll nominate either Freddie Mercury or Elton John for the title.

A lass that I worked with in my previous job is Irish and a Christy Moore fan. I'm sorry but I used to feel suicidal everytime she played it, and she used to play it over and over. Certainly not my bag at all. I feel quite nauseous just thinking about it!

Better Luck in reading things properly this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Queen run rings round Oasis, have sold countless more, and performed like Gods!!!!!

Oasis are the most overrated band ever to appear, they can not sing perform or write.

Oh, and of course, they have no brains either!

Quite right, Garinda, but you've missed out THE major touchstone of rock 'n' roll - jump blues. This largely forgotten musical style was the bedrock of the rock 'n' roll revolution. Some like Elvis used it as a stepping stone to create their own musical style; others like Bill Haley simply produced a watered-down version of jump blues that was acceptable for white radio stations in the US. Listen to Bill's wimpy cover version of Shake Rattle & Roll, then lend an ear to to Big Joe Turner's original. Big Joe blows the kiss-curled one out of the water!

It's just your personal taste.

I can appreciate that someone is good even if I don't like their particular style of music.

I know someone who idolises Daniel O'Donnel but personally you'd have to pay me to go to a concert of his!
