just dug an old single out called slow down by shabby tiger i believe they were a very talented local band from the burnley area ! anybody any info on them ?

DIG OUT NO MORE , SHABBY TIGER IS A GROUP FROM AROUND THESE PARTS AND USED TO PRACTISE UP DILL HALL LANE, sorry for the capitals.used to listen to them when they where playing behind what is now the total garage on the waY UP TO EXPRESS GIFTS.

no but i will ask about,anyone heard of F.M.....short for frequency modulation,they have played at burnley mechanics and at the colne municiple hall. Apperantly very big over in china and malaysia.

I remember the name Shabby Tiger so I did a Google. One of the ex members of Shabby Tiger, Tony Baker, has appeared in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights as a member of the group Half A Sixpence. He actually wrote all the music for the series.

cheers yerself,i believe a guy called(endy) was in the band who moved to wales years ago,but not 100% on the nickname.they were a great local band best since REV BLACK and theROCKIN VICARS in my opinion.
