We were talking about that on Saturday night. How many teenagers ( youth choir ) could say they gigged with the Stones at Glastonbury

The Stones were what I expected, but for me the surprise was Nile Rodgers and Chic, unreal a truely great musician.
Worth a look.
Also Seasick Steve was as good as ever

I love a lot work by Nile Rodgers, he's produced a lot of great stuff, over the last twenty years for the likes of Diana Ross, David Bowie, Duran Duran, and Madonna as well as a talented artiste in his own right

Re: Stones At Glastonbury.

Never liked them. A bunch of nasty public school types who acquiesed in the murder of a black man at Altamont where their nasty evil songs encouraged Hells Angels to violence. The very notion that the devil has the best songs is rubbish. If pressed I will give a list of the most beautiful uplifting songs and music to the human spirit . Love and beauty thrashes evil every time. The great fear of the modern world is that we are approaching a critical mass of degraded humanity (witness last years' riots and arson in Manchester and London) who share values of the utmost primitiveness. Imagine a society where law abiding, civilised and loving people find themselves in a minority. Oh, Lord help us and provide us with an inter-galactic Mayflower. The time is right.
