The Death of Les Paul
The man who invented the solid guitar Les Paul, has died at the age of 94, he was associated with guitar makers Gibson and one of their machines was the Gibson Les Paul which have been used over the years by many guitarist from top bands. He was also influential in the development of multi-track recording and overdubbing RIP

Just read about this. What a revolution this guy caused! Only a couple of weeks ago, I listened to a great show, hosted by Randy Bachman (BTO), on CBC radio. Fascinating stuff.
