Exclamation The Nutty Boys are back

I was in Manchester yesterday, and found out the details for the 3rd Move Festival being held at Lancashire County Cricket Club's Old Trafford venue.
It is being held over 4 days in July. The headline bands confirmed so far, are as follows:

Thursday 8th July - Madness , Ocean Colour Scene.

Friday 9th July - The Cure, Elbow.

Saturday 10th July - Stereophonics, The Pixies.

Sunday 11th July - Morrisey.

If previous Move events at Old Trafford can be held as a benchmark, the band listings will be increased, and announced shortly. As with most festival events, there are usually about 6 acts each day. It's a good venue for concerts and easy to get to with public transport, catch the Lancashire United X1 bus to Manchester and then the Metrolink directly to the cricket ground, all for the princely sum of £6.90 return.
Further details can be found on the LCCC website at http://www.lccc.co.uk/news/move04.html.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday 16th April.

Sounds great, missed last years Move, as I was working so some other lucky beggar got my ticket, will definately try to get time off for this year. Madness are well worth seeing, saw them a few years back, not only were they a brilliant musical act they were also hilarious.

To be amended when I sober up.

Re: The Nutty Boys are back

What a fantastic day out!

Chilled out to the great sound of Jimmy Cliff in the afternoon. Ocean Colour Scene in the evening but the highlight of the show had to be Madness.
Still brilliant after all these years, the crowd was absolutely jumping. Managed to get a few pics during the less nutty moments by holding the camera in the air and just clicking.
Covered in bruises today and a bit hungover but well worth it...
