We have threads looking for songs with birds and animals in the title, with "up" in the title, but what about songs which remind you of a particular Accy Webber ... it could be a direct link: someone's name in a title. Or it could be an indirect linking. Whatever, try to be kinda nice, or, at least, humorous.
I have one for Dave in Germany. Has nothing to do with Dave or with Germany ... and it's sort of about an event that Dave has possibly never attended. But it does bring to mind the determination of squaddies, in the heart of Canada's cattle Province, to go down to the Hat for a damn good time, whatever the extremities of the weather. And the lyrics contain words which feature large in the everyday discourse of squaddies the world over. Thid one is for C'mon ... I know the poor guy recieves a lot of criticism for his socialist views ... here is a vision of what the workers paradise could be like. I know C'mon probably won't read this thread, but, if he does, I hope he brings a sense of humour with him because there is no malice or criticism intended
