Very sad news...he produced some great records by Al Green, Ann Peebles, Syl Johnson, Otis Clay and more.
Also made a load of crackin' tunes in his own right including "That Driving Beat" (big Twisted Wheel classic) and "The Champion" (Wigan Casino floorfiller). RIP Willie.
