Xmas Number One

Does anyone think the same as me, that X factor has taken the fun out of music at Xmas?

Loads of people used to bring songs out in December in a bid to be number one on Xmas day. Now it's more or less a given that Simon Cowell is going to own the top slot.

Much as i like Hallelujah, (I prefer the cohen version) I would love Peter Kay to get there with his single. (It's so catchy anyway!)

Some bookies are apparently shortening their odds on this happening.

Think X factor should be barred from releasing their single till the New Year.

Definately NOT Peter Kay, that Geraldine charecter is truely his worst ever creation and as for the songs.............. don`t mind the X Factor getting it but after a couple of years i think its getting a bit tedious............

I think X factor has taken the fun out of living - it should be banned never mind them releasing a single before christmas.

Agree Neil .. when it throws up two clones in the last 2 years .. time to give up .. shows that the second has no X Factor at all.

As for the number one .. agree Caz .. taking the fun out of music now .. just all hype to get it there, and gullible public being influenced by it all.
