Re: 2 Lads on Loan from Watford.

why?

fifth in the league having played 4 teams from the top ten in our 6 games so far. And then potentially upset a young team by bringing in 2 more. Have we won the lottery and not bothered telling anyone?

So from our usual 5 man midfield with two holding (Joyce and Miller) that leaves ...
Boco, Hatfield, Chippendale, Barnett, Clark, Molyneux, Whichelow and Minger battling for 3 spots. The rest should be made to stand on the terraces then we might look like we got a decent crowd ...

Last comment aimed for Mr T, are we allowed to have players wearing the same number as previous players? What is the purpose of having 2 number 26s and 2 number 30s when 27,28,29 are all free? Last year we had about half a dozen wear number 19 ... its making a right pigs ear of my record sheets!

I cant see us contributing anything to their wages as they are from a championship club.

More lads the better for me.

Probably cos we got a couple carrying knocks? n also another must be getting very near to suspension? But the link is more important than the positions in my eyes.

Re: 2 Lads on Loan from Watford.

Well Spain just won the Euro's without playing a recognized forward in the majority of their games !!

If they're costing nowt fair enough....competition for places keeps those with starting berths on their toes and gives Cooky the luxury of rotating and giving lads a rest as well as providing plenty of cover for lads who pick up a knock or suspension !!

As Fergie has done at Utd for years, he rotates young lads and gives them game time without " burning them out " or exhausting them !! With games coming thick and fast at the moment then it makes sense to me !!

I would like a big beast of a striker with some power and a physical presence to fully complement what is looking like a squad that has the depth to challenge for honours this year though !!!

One thing it does apart from adding completion for places,is it makes training more competitive and increases the intensity, which improves the players technique

Macca

Providing you "deselect" a number you can use it again.

Think re-cycling and you'll understand ours and others thoughts!!

I never thought someone would post on here complaining that we are getting too big a squad. Can only be good in my eyes, especially if they are costing nowt! Speaks volumes for cooky that we can attract players like we have. I think coley fell out with a few too many managers and burnt his bridges with regards to loan deals.

Do you mean Championship Accybeme?

Personal thoughts it opens another door to a highly regarded Club one with a fantastic record of producing players through it's Academy, full credit to Paul Cook and massive credit to Peter Marsden for opening the door at the end of the day these are loan moves and can only add more strength and depth to the squad which has to be good.
