Re: 2011 Prediction League; Game 24 Macclesfield Town (home)
30 favoured us to keep the winning run going against Hereford, 6 wise men went for the draw and 3, mostly using reverse psychology I feel, went agin us. 5 of the 6 (Cashman, Football19, LancsDave, Norwich Stanley and Stanleyhouse) plumped for 1-1 so picked up a maximum 5 points, Wolves Reds got 3 and the rest of us 1 or 0. This meant LancsDave closed the gap on our leader David1 to a single point.
Reverse psychology was abandoned for the Macc game and only Football19 and, strangely, Kiwi John hedged their bets by going for a draw. So at least 3 points for everyone else but only Cashy took the maximum 5. 4 others had us down to score 4 and a bundle of people backed Bavs for a clean sheet and got a bonus point that way.
I do feel for my dear colleague ……..

So not a lot of movement, but LancsDave pulled level with David1 by getting 4 points as opposed to D1’s 3. They can’t even be split on countback, the records are identical … such excitement!! And Cashy's clearly on a roll .....
Full table attached. Roll on the Brewers!
Happy New Year to all
