2 hard-fought draws against good opposition and optimism was high - 37 predicting Stanley wins, only 6 envisaging a draw. No thought of defeat ...... so 43 entries yielding a total of 8 points, 2 for 2-2 draws and the rest for n-2 wins.

Of the scorers, only LancsDave in 3rd features in the top 10, moving a point closer to NigeB and Jaysay ahead of him.

As no part of LancsBoy's "Stanley win 3-3" was correct, I didn't have to adjudicate - but for the record, I would have taken 3-3.
