Re: 2012 Prediction League; Game 45 v Bristol Rovers (away)
I've had to live with the consequences of those two awful defeats down here. Surely lightning can't strike a third time? I'll be more than happy with a 2 - 2 draw.

Sometimes misguided & over optimistic, but not intentionally wrong.

Re: 2012 Prediction League; Game 45 v Bristol Rovers (away)
Two games of the season to go and you lot finally got serious about your predictions and dropped down to merely cautious optimism - only 10 going for us against 7 for them , with a solid 19 sensibly going for the draw that should have been (but wouldn't quite have been) enough for nailed-on safety.
But no-one told Leam and the lads - yee haa!
I had to look down last week's table to 14th before finding somone who predicted a win for us today - that was Redash, who moved up one place as a result. No-one got the max 5 points - Div3North and new entrant Chubbyman predicted our clean sheet to get a bonus point, and therefore 4 points for the week.
So no-one in the Top 10 got more than a single bonus point . Enough for Teach to move ahead of Valairian into 3rd, and Kiwi John to climb over Football19 into 7th.
We now just have 3 possible winners - Ossy Kid on 83, Nige B on 81 and Teach on 79. Val on 78 in 4th can catch OK on points but not on countback, as OK has 10 "wins" (5 point maximums) to Val's 2.
Top 50 table attached.
Roll on Oxford. Revenge for this season's earlier meetings would be sweet, wouldn't it. And catching Morecambe even better ..... On Stanley On!!
