2013-14 recruitment
I wouldn't wish to start a thread saying "what players should we get rid off" because that isn't the Stanley way, particularly when we still need points off them! But, I think we only have Murphy and Miller (who) signed up for next season and I think it's suffice to say that one or two of our players will be head hunted (Linganzi coming in for some praise on Northampton, Wimbledon and Gillingham boards, and the whole league now knows what Molyneux can do).
How many of the recent ex-Reds (easy to tempt back?) would you consider?
McIntyre, Edwards and Gornell out of contract at Rochdale
Jimmy Ryan out of contract at Scunthorpe
Alex Cisak out of contract at Oldham (has only played 7 games this season)
Proccy, one year left at Preston but only 6 League starts so they may be willing to pay him off
One or two of those added to this squad and we'd have the makings of a tidy first eleven ...

Thats fine wi no ambition. I'm happy just to retain a league place, but still harbour a hope fer advancement.

McIntyre at 35 is not good enough for Rochdale hence not good enough for accy.
Edwards well used by Rochdale probably given a new contract before August.
Gornell has only just signed a new contract with Rochdale.
Ryan maybe out of contract in June but he is Scunthorpe’s most used player and will no doubt renew his contract.
Cisac we can’t compete with Oldham on wages.
Proccy come back home Andy

Re: 2013-14 recruitment
A little too early to talk about contracts yet !!!
Agreed there is little chance of getting any of them, with the exception of Proccy.

Re: 2013-14 recruitment
Too early for all this talk!!! Lets avoid relegation with the players we have got!
Forget about players that have moved. Very rarely players return to a former club and replicate form that earnt them a move away.
We are different now, forget the past lets build on Stanley for the future.

Re: 2013-14 recruitment
I would hope as soon as we are safe contracts are being offered, fer me we have the nucleus of a decent side.
