They Think It's All Over as Teach Stretches The Lead

Class will out, so they say , and 5 of the 6 people that picked up the max 5 points this week are in the Top 8 in our table . Most importantly, Teach was one of them and AngeB wasn't , so the lead is now 13 points with only 15 available. Third and fourth, and still theoretically possible winners after their maximums, are Football19 and Sherry, 14 and 15 behind respectively. Out of the race despite maximums are Bdc (5th) and Ossy Kid (8th). Kiwi John, who always goes 1-1 but didn't this week , is 6th instead of 2nd , and Rosey, who relies almost entirely on his (?) season ticket, is 7th. The other maximum went to Stevie R (19th), and the other drawmongers picking up 3 points for 2-2 forecasts were Cmon Stanley and LongLostSon.

So 8 going correctly for the draw, while 29 kept the faith and only 3 thought we would lose.

Spookily , if you've scored more points in the prediction league than Stanley have on the pitch, you're in the top half of the table, and if you haven't, you aren't.

Roll on Sarfend. We've just taken points off York and Mansfield, who are/were playoff contenders, so it'll only be fair if we do it to the Shrimpers too, won't it?
