Re: 2014/15 Prediction League - Game 35 v Portsmouth FC (home)

There Ain't No Stopping Her Now - Apparently

A battling backs-to-the-wall second-half performance, by all accounts , for a manager who can't find his way to the dressing room, by some accounts ... result, a 1-1 draw predicted correctly by only Jim'sLad (14th - 6th ), OssyKid (28th - 22nd ) and, yep, AngeB (12pts clear - 16pts clear at the top ).

Minor victories (3 pts) for Tommy McQueen (11th - 7th), Norwich Stanley (30th - 29th), Yerself (19th, no change) and Stevie R (27th, no change). And a point for each of the 6 who thought we'd score 1, and the 15 who thought they would. Leaving 7 people with nothing ....... and just a few minor changes in position apart from those already highlighted.

The only pessimist predicting a Pompey victory was Dav007 via his 0-5 home default . So I guess the general view is that was two points dropped , especially as we now have to roll on over to Burton (now back on top ) next Saturday and Wycombe (3rd ) the following Tuesday. It notionally gets easier after that, though ......... but perhaps we'll upset a couple of applecarts and have 50 points by the time York come to town in a fortnight.

On Stanley On!!
