Re: 2014/15 Squad :)
when he played for us his wages were subsidised I believe (Cardiff?) so he was always going to leave us. Paul Parry released as well? that again has to be wages - poor mans Gary Roberts though

Re: 2014/15 Squad :)
I was told today (on reasonable authority) that Crewe are likely to release Lee Molyneux
Apparently he was originally signed as cover for their injured LB (?Brad Inman - I haven't checked that) but he is fit now, and first choice. Given the number of youngsters they've given contracts to, and the age they blood their Academy players, he may be too old (hah!) or expensive ........
The fact that he got little playing time there, and was loaned out to Rochdale and to us, seems to make it likely they will 'cut him'. The above came to me second hand, but is more than 'mere rumour', I'm told
I'll have him back like a shot!

Well they will have to pay him up, as he signed for 2 years.

Depends on the terms of the contract; may be a break clause, may come to an agreement .......Very few people have contracts so simplistic that they get every penny notionally due over the whole unexpired period of the contract if it is varied or shortened.....
We'll likely never know ...........

Be an excellent signing for us!
100% in agreement Keith.
What better way to put himself in the shop window for a better move later on than with us? Tom Aldred at Accy has done just the same and looks to be on his way to MK Dons or Bournemouth."
Any "legs" in this?

Re: 2014/15 Squad :)
'News' (sic) on Sky's web page says Peter Murphy is interesting several un- named clubs (optimistic agent-speak?) after turning down new terms with Stanley.

Can they 'release' someone who is still under contract? Doesn't Mr. Molyneux have another 12 months with the Alex?
