Once again we stupidly expected a good performance in a cup game to be followed by another one in the league
. This time, we were right
. Only Exile on Spencer Street, for his own inscrutable reasons
, put his money on the light blues, and only 4 took the cautious draw option, leaving 33 of us to take at least 3 points along with a dose of happiness
. 14 (too many to name) got it spot-on, including 7 of the Top 10 (Top 8 actually) but crucially not second-placed Tommy McQueen
who expected us to get a third goal. So Ange B's lead creeps up to 2 points
.
The only movement otherwise worth reporting is a change in mid-table which means Dav007 is now bottom of the top, relegating Cashy to top of the bottom. And given the creative tension existing on here between Dav and Chubbyman
, I suppose I should point out Chubs is now next to bottom of the top, just a point ahead of his nemesis.
