Stick or Twist - The Definitive Answer .......

Is STICK - 7 people changed their bids after the postponement of the original game ....

Accytom: Original bid 3-1, Final bid 4-0, Points lost 2
Outback Ozzy: 3-1, 5-2, 2
Winstanley: 3-1, 2-0, 2
MonkeyHanger: 2-1, 1-1, 2
AngeB: 3-1, 2-1, 1
NigeB: 3-0, 2-0, 1
LongLostSon: 2-1, 3-2, No change

A first, I think, was that nobody forecast a Stanley defeat , 34 going for the win and just 6 sitting on the fence, presumably thinking this was the best way to keep their feet out of the water .

6 (instead of 9 ) maximums went to Leylandii (up from 8= to 6=), Mystic Meg/AccyMad (24th - 21st), Redash (30th - 28th), CmonStanley (39th - 35th), and Alvin the Chipmunk and AsFc62 (both 26= to 23=, by default). Sparkie's 4 points moved her into the Top 10 (in 9th) at the expense of MikeA, with DeeayeEss and Mab also scrambling over Mike to share 10= with Dave in Germany.

Kiwi John and MonkeyHanger were the highest placed drawmongers and slipped out of the top half as a result, but I am once again just including a single table showing those who have played 10 or more - Mysteron is the only person who played this week not shown, and he sits 2 points and 1 place below Yerself, with 15 points from 8 games.

So on we roll to the Grecians on Saturday, and with 4 of the 5 teams above us playing one another we could close in a bit, though we can't gain more than one place whatever happens. Can we handle two games a week and keep winning through most of February? Course we can!

On Stanley On!!

Although we cant gain more than one place on sat, These 3 pts are possibly the biggest of the season so far imho.

If I remember right, Exeter away was a massive win in our Conference winning season - will never forget THAT Cav tackle (neither will the Grecians I think) - here's hoping this season's journey there will be as lucrative
