If we play like we did against Plymouth, we are going to stick a good few passed the opposing goalkeeper. However, I don't think Wycombe is the game, so sticking to my original as well.

Re: 2015/16 Prediction League; Game 21 v Wycombe Wanderers (home)

BUMP

When we should have played them (12th December) their record was W8 D6 L5, for 30 points (I'm assuming no-one will re-read the thread opener - or even read it, come to that) ...... Currently, they're 8th, with a record that now reads P35 W16 D7 L12 GF 38 GA 32 and 55 points, one behind BrizzleR and two ahead of Wimbledon; in December they won 3 and drew the fourth; in January they won 1 and lost 3, plus went out of the FA Cup 2-0 at Villa after a home half-Desmond; in February they won 3 and lost 2; in March, to date, they've won 1 and lost 2. More interestingly, eight of their last nine games - including their last 6 - have ended 1-0; even more interestinger than that, they've won their last 3 at home 1-0 (Stevenage, BrizzleR and Exeter) and lost their last three away 1-0 (Newport, Cambridge and the Cobblers)

Taking the top 10 teams as the yardstick at this point of the season, they've returned three wins (Oxford and BrizzleR at home, Plymouth away - although they lost the return games with the Pilgrims and the Pirates), 4 draws (Pompey, Orient, Wombles ad Carlisle) and they've lost the return game with the Orient, and both games with Northampton; W3 D4 L5 ............. still to play out of the top 10, they've got us (twice), Northampton, Pompey, Oxford and the Wombles, and I think that's a tough schedule; if we take 4 or 6 points from them, I think they're realistically out of contention

GK Matt Ingram has gone to QPR, and Jason Banton - who they brought home early from a loan - has been released by MutConsent, and signed on Notts County's dotted; they've also loaned 22 year-old striker Aaron Amadi-Holliday (who came in from Bristol Citties) to Oldham, and ex-Millers def Danny Rowe (20) to Barrow (although I can't find out what he did to deserve that!) In have come Reading striker Rowan Liburd (23), signed as cover for the injured Millwall loanee Paris Cowan-Hall - who hit 22 in a five month spell at Billericay Town - and Bournemouth GK Ryan Allsop

Leading scorers are Garry Thompson (35) - ex Morecambe, the Iron, Bratfud and Notts Co (with 7), and 23-year old ex QPR defender Michael Harriman (who they ProperSigned for Łundisclosed after two loan spells), who has 6; nobody else has more than 4 ................head-to-head hasn't changed since the opening of the thread; four wins each and six draws.

Those who want to change their predictions are welcome to do so; those who don't want to are welcome not to; in either case, Good Luck, Keep the Faith, and Thanks for Playing!
