Flightless Kiwi Times Leap Off Fence All Wrong

On hearing Saturday's result I assumed Kiwi John's lead at the top of the Prediction League would be boosted, 1-1 being his banker forecast used 13 times so far this season .... but no, he's lost more of his his faith and jumped down on to the pessimists' side of the fence recently , and Romy's late leveller meant that failed to pay off this time .

Of those clinging on to the top of the fence, Monkey Hanger, Ossy Kid and Red-Osbornello did so most accurately, landing maxis to take them from 6th, 7th and 8th to 2nd, 3rd and 4th= respectively. MH is now just a point behind Kiwi with the other two equal on points with AccyMad and Accybeme a point further back, countback giving Ossy Kid the edge over the others.

Also on the fence, but only taking 3 points, were Jim's Lad, up from 20th to 13th, and AndyD, 22nd to 17th. For the rest of us, 5 got a point for our goal and 8 for theirs, the rest got nowt. For some reason optimism remained the order of the day with 20 forecasting a Stanley win and only 6 going the other way.

We also welcomed Chrisr into the game for the first time this season, bagging a point to enter the table in 35th place out of 39.

So after hopefully a happy return to Woking and a bit of light FA Cup relief against the Cards, its roll on the Os on Saturday week. Its getting harder to find teams below us in the table to muck up against, but this is potentially another one ...... surely not ....... pretty please

On Stanley On!!
