Fence-sitters Prosper As Realism Strikes Prediction Leaguers
The suspicion that this season may not be quite like last  has set in to the minds of Accywebbers, with more predicting defeat (12) than glorious victory (9) up at Carlisle. The fence was also pretty crowded  , with 11 precariously balancing there. And those 11 did best, with 5 taking the max 5 points , leaving 6 with just 3. The other 21 just shared a few bonus points amongst themselves .The maxis were Smobile, climbing from joint 3rd to joint top (alongside MonkeyHanger) despite having only entered 4 times in the first 6 games; AccyMad, 7th to 3rd, just a point behind; Div3North, 9th= to 4th; Kiwi John, 14th to 5th; and Revived Red, reviving from 26th= to 14th=. Pleased to report a good turnout amongst the small but select band of this season's Prediction League players, with only 4 no-shows and 1 new recruit in the shape of Stanleyelite, who regrettably failed to trouble the scorer on his debut. But sad to note the passing of Redraine, a regular player in the past. Back in the points, have we turned a corner I wonder? Hope so, 'cos I reckon we need to. So roll on the Cobblers - On Stanley On!!
