This may be mildly over-optimistic, but I enjoyed 3-0 Stanley so much in May, I think I'll go for it again.

Re: 2017/18 Prediction League; Game 14 v Stevenage FC (away)

Pessimism Pays for Outback Ozzy and Monkey Hanger

They (and Satanage) got 3 points . More than half of the rest of us correctly thought we'd score 2, and got 1 point for our pains . The others didn't . Nobody thought they'd get 3 .......

And as a result Outback moved up from 5th to 3rd, and MH from 10th to 6th. Ossy Kid, who got a point, moved up from 9th to 7th because Lord S, DaveinG and AccyMad didn't. And there was probably a bit of fiddling around outside the Top Ten but I can't be bothered to look .

I suppose we all knew that run of 3 games was going to show whether we are quite as good as we hope we are. Maybe we aren't, quite. But the Luton result compared to what they did to Stevenage and Exeter shows we're not too bad. Shall we settle for "When we are good, we are very, very good, and when we are not, we are .... average?"

Any road, back on the (railway) track on Saturday, please. Roll on the Alex. Win the next two and we'll be back on 2 points per game, and probably back in the automatic spots. Can we do it? Yes we can! On Stanley On!!
