Good Day for Stanley, Bad Day For Ozzssys
Another routine sort of day for the Prediction League, most (as usual) going for a Stanley win, most of those picking up a single bonus point, mostly for Stanley 2, and the only maxis going to AccyTom18, taking him from 19th to 16th, and JimsLad, 28th to 25th. But 25th isn't bad when you've only played 5 times for your 21 points, giving an average of 4.2
, meaning if you'd played 15 times with the same success rate, you would be sitting 22 points clear on top of the table
.
Speaking of the top of the table, all the Top 6 took 4 points bar Outback Ozzy (3), so no change there. 7th placed Ossy Kid was a no-show
, so no points and a plunge down to 13th. AccyMad was a 4 and climbed over Lord S and D-i-G (3) to take 7th
, with MikeA (4) entering the elite alongside D-i-G at 9th=. The rest was mostly fiddling about a bit.
I thought I'd quote one post so you can join me in trying to work out if the unusual punctuation, phrasing and line spacing holds a hidden message .....

I said I thought winning the next two games (this one and Barnet) might see us back in the automatic promotion spots, but didn't dream just winning one would do it
. Important now to consolidate with a home win, don't you think? So roll on the Bees - if we get in front before Notts County, and Coventry take the lead against Luton, "as it stands" could show us top
.
On Stanley On!!
