I was going to put 2-0 Stanley, but I can't believe YFB won't score against us, so I'm going for Stanley 2 Chairboys 1

Re: 2017/18 Prediction League; Game 19 v Wycombe Wanderers (home)

Team Tom Take Timely Triumph

Oh we of little faith - the Akinfenwa effect led 5 of us to stray so far from the paths of righteousness as to predict a loss , and 6 more to get as far as the fence. And of the 15 lambs who didn't stray , only 4 also kept the faith with Aaron and went for a clean sheet. And faith was duly rewarded ....

Team Tom went on to take maxis, namely Tom D (two on the trot ) who moved up from 6th to 3rd=, and AccyTom18, 14th to 11th. Team Oszy (Ozsy?) took 4 points each, the Kid up from 7th to 6th, but Outback down from 4th to 5th, overtaken by Tom D.

The Top 3 were unchanged, but MonkeyHanger's winning streak was broken and his lead reduced to a single point by Mab's 3. Major losers up top were AndyD, down from 5th to 8th, MikeA, 9th= to 13th=, and AccyMad, also 9th= to 13th= after an almost unprecedented (first time since 11th March, away to Exeter) failure to predict a Stanley win . Cashman benefited from their failings to rejoin the elite, in 10th. Lower down, Football19's 3 points were enough to see him surge from 23rd= to 19th=.

OK, things may be looking up. Roll on the Grecians - ooh, now there's a coincidence, Di . And isn't it a nice warm feeling to know that even if we lose, we'll still be 3rd on Saturday evening . Not that we will lose ........... On Stanley On!!
